This 4-day in-person training event presented by JEM offers both BDA/DAS training and PCTEL Public Safety Tester certification.
Days 1 and 2 consist of Fiplex by Honeywell BDA Hands-on Certification – Level 2 training. Days 1 and 2 are FREE, and optional for those attending PCTEL training on Days 3 and 4. See registration page for prerequisites.
On Days 3 and 4, you’ll learn how to use PCTEL’s Public Safety Testing Solution and SeeHawk® Central Workflow Automation Platform to efficiently plan, execute, and submit required testing.
Day 3 consists of PCTEL’s BDA Commissioning Testing Training. We’ll dive more deeply into key concepts related to the testing portion of the BDA commissioning process. You’ll learn about the “best practices” tests most commonly required by local jurisdictions and recommended by BDA manufacturers. You’ll learn the purpose of each test, what equipment you’ll need, and how to accurately and efficiently execute it. Tests will be illustrated using the PCTEL Public Safety Testing Solution with the BDA Testing option.
Day 4 consists of PCTEL ® Certified Public Safety Tester Training training, covering grid-based coverage testing, with the option for your company to be listed on our website upon successful completion.

- One kit may be shared by two registered trainees. We may also have a limited number of test kits available to borrow at in-person training events. Please contact us using this form if you are planning to attend to ensure you have the proper equipment.
